2010 Annual Award goes to Euromedic
Our Annual Award is presented to " the company or individual judged to have made an outstanding contribution to Irish Hungarian business relations". Sean Eustace, Chairman of Euromedic Ireland, was presented with the 2010 award at the Annual Lunch held on the 8th October.
The award has mainly honoured Irish businesses which have set up in Hungary over the past twenty years. This is different, in that the award is going to a company which originated in Hungary in 1990 and which still has it's headquarters in Budapest. Through it's success it now operates in 15 countries throughout Western, Central and Eastern Europe.
Sean, a person very much involved with our association and one of our founding members back in 1989, invited Euromedic to consider establishing in Ireland. It set up it's first business here in 2007 and has gone on to become a leading provider of world-class out patient diagnostic healthcare in Ireland with state-of-the-art centres in Dublin, Cork, Sligo and Belfast. The company continues to invest heavily in Ireland and currently employs more than 100 people.
